Rohit Sharma watched the third day of the final Test between England and India at the Oval.
Team India ODI captain Rohit Sharma was present at the field on the third day of the ongoing India vs England fifth Test match at the Oval. The former Test captain, who recently retired from the longest format of the game, was seen present at the field minutes after the start of play on Saturday.

Rohit was seen wearing the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-Thin Smoked Burgundy Titanium watch, which costs around Rs 2.46 crore. The veteran cricketer watched the third day of play, in which India dominated England throughout.

Indian opener Jaiswal revealed that he had received a message from the veteran batsman encouraging him to continue batting in the fifth Test. Jaiswal started the third day with a strong partnership with nightwatcher Akash Deep and added 107 runs for the third wicket.
Jaiswal told the Times of India, “I saw Rohit bhai and said hi to him. He just said that I should continue batting.”

He further said, “The wicket was a bit fast. I was enjoying batting. I hope in England too, when you play, you play on such wickets. Mentally, I was ready and was just enjoying it. I knew what shots I was going to play on this surface.”
Jaiswal hit his sixth Test century and played a brilliant innings of 118 runs with the help of 14 fours and two sixes in 164 balls. Thanks to his innings, India managed to extend their lead to 373 runs in the second innings and set England a target of 374 runs to win.
India ended Day 3 on a bright note when Mohammed Siraj dismissed Zak Crawley off the second last ball of the day, leaving England needing 324 runs to win the match and capture the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy.
