Despite their efforts, the Indian bowlers managed to deliver just one over as England opener Zak Crawley employed tactics to slow down the game. On the fifth ball of the first over, bowled by Jasprit Bumrah, Crawley was struck on the gloves while attempting a defensive shot. He then summoned the team physio onto the field.
