The England-India series was widely regarded as one of the finest Test series between the two nations. Nearly every game extended to the fifth day, with players from both sides showcasing their best with bat and ball across all five matches.
One of the standout encounters took place at Lord’s Cricket Ground, the third match of the series. The game went down to the wire, with Mohammed Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja mounting a remarkable fight during India’s 193-run chase.

Describing the incident as still shocking, Mohammed Siraj revealed that the moment keeps resurfacing on Instagram reels. Speaking to The Indian Express, he said he still feels emotional whenever he watches it, as India had nearly lost the game.
“It’s still shocking to me. I don’t know how it happened. If you watch carefully, as the ball travels toward the stumps, a small pebble comes in its path, making the ball bounce and just graze the stumps, causing a bail to fall.
“That moment keeps appearing on Insta reels. Every time I see those clips, I get emotional. We had almost lost that match, but we came back in the Test. I felt so comfortable on the field; there was no way I thought I could get out.”
