Since 2008, IPL has had 18 editions, with CSK, MI, and KKR as the most successful teams. CSK and MI have five titles each; KKR has three. Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu lead with six trophies, but only one player has appeared in more than 10 IPL finals.

Former MI captain Rohit Sharma has featured in six finals throughout his illustrious career. He led Mumbai Indians to five IPL titles—in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020—cementing his legacy as one of the most successful captains in the tournament’s history.

Before his MI stint, Rohit also played the 2009 final with Deccan Chargers, who clinched the title that year. Remarkably, Rohit has never lost an IPL final, winning all six he’s appeared in.
