Chase was appointed captain of the West Indies Test side earlier this year. The team recently endured a tough 0\u20133 home series defeat against Australia, including a dramatic collapse for just 27 runs in the final match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahead of the series, the West Indies have already lost two key pacers, Shamar Joseph<\/a> and Alzarri Joseph, to injuries, while Jason Holder opted out of the tour. This means the team will rely heavily on their spin trio of Roston Chase, Jomel Warrican, and Khary Pierre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
