England defeated India by a narrow margin of 22 runs in a thrilling contest that ended on Monday, July 14, at Lord\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chasing a target of 193 runs, India found themselves struggling at 112 for 8 wickets. Yet, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Siraj displayed exceptional batting to keep the hope of victory alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably, Jadeja remained unbeaten with a resilient 61 runs in the second innings, but lacked support from the rest of the batting lineup. Bumrah held on for 54 balls and Siraj resisted for 30 deliveries, keeping India\u2019s hopes alive. However, England eventually broke through and bowled India out to seal the victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
